The leader of "MECH" Radostin Vassilev made a series of serious accusations against the "Velichie" party and its ideologue Ivelin Mihaylov. In an interview for the program "Denyat na Darik" on Tuesday evening, Vassilev stated that he will work to close down the formation, which he described as a "pyramid" and "sect of fraudsters".
"I will close down the pyramid "Velichie“ this week!", Vassilev threatened, quoted by "Darik Radio".
He also accused "Velichy" of benefiting from the protection of MRF MP Delyan Peevski. "For me, there is no doubt that the protection over "Velichy"... is from Delyan Peevski", Vassilev said.
Vassilev commented on the tension in parliament, caused by signals against "Velichy", which "MECH" has made public. He claims that there is a "documentary crime" in the registration of MP Maria Ilieva.
"Her declaration was submitted by Stiliana Bobcheva... We have a member of parliament in parliament who should not even have been included in the list," said the leader of "MECH". He added that there is another signal according to which the party "is draining its own subsidy".
Radostin Vassilev was categorical in his assessment of Ivelin Mihaylov. "Everything about Ivelin Mihaylov is a fraud, and he is an ordinary criminal", he said.
Vassilev also spoke about a meeting with Mihaylov at the radio building earlier in the day. "He came and said that he would ruin me because I was telling the truth", commented Vassilev.
The leader of "MECH" rejected Pelo Krastev's claims that he had offered him a 100,000 leva bribe to buy his silence. Vassilev called the displayed messages "fake" and described Krastev as "a tool of the sect of fraudsters" and "provocateur", whom Mihaylov will "deny... exactly in two nights".
Radostin Vassilev announced that he had filed two reports with the prosecutor's office against Ivelin Mihaylov. He linked the alleged protection of "Velichy" with the "Historical Park" project.
"For me, the "Historical Park" report... has 70 million leva of laundered money, people died… This project exists in the conditions of criminal existence with Peevski's protection – there is no other option", Vassilev also said.
He also commented on other topics, calling the budget "absurd" and "unbalanced" and stating that the state should have acquired "Lukoil".
