An international specialized police operation is being conducted at several border checkpoints, the Ministry of Interior announced. The operation involves the “Border Police“, the Directorate General of Border and Customs Affairs, the “Customs” Agency and representatives of partner services. The days of action are being held with the support of Europol and under the coordination of Frontex.
The goal is to track and neutralize the illegal trafficking of people, narcotics and excise goods through the country.
