The National Council of the party "We continue the change" elected Nikolay Denkov as deputy chairman of the party, the party announced.
Denkov's nomination was made by the party leader Assen Vassilev in accordance with the changes in the statute, voted by the General Assembly in September.
Among the decisions adopted at that time, the statute stated that the deputy chairman of the party would be nominated by the Executive Council and approved by the National Council upon the proposal of the chairman – Assen Vassilev.
An Ethics Commission was also established at that time to investigate signals of corruption and violations and to take appropriate action.
