A protest was held at the Republic Pass near Gurkovo with a heavy police presence, BNT reported.
Citizens demanded the preservation of the Bulgarian lev and the resignation of the government. The pass was not blocked.
The organizers announced that a nationwide blockade of the country will be held next Saturday. The specific points where there will be blockades will be announced at a later stage.
