We call on Russia to stop unacceptable actions to jam satellite signals of European countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a post on the “Ex“ platform.
Ahead of the next meeting of the Radio Regulations Board (RRB) of the International Telecommunication Union from November 10 to 14, we strongly condemn these unacceptable actions and call on Russia to stop them, the ministry added.
They point out that Russia continues to jam satellite signals and signals from radio navigation satellite systems, which affects the critical infrastructure and services of European countries.
In September, European Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius said that the European Union would deploy additional satellites in low Earth orbit to increase resilience against GPS interference and improve detection capabilities.
