Nadezhda Yordanova: The derogation for "Lukoil" gives us a breath of air

According to her, the processes must be reorganized in order to stop the financial flows to Russia. According to her, the government could have appointed a special manager from day one. For her, the delay is inexplicable

The task of all politicians is for Bulgarians to have access to fuels at affordable prices. The derogation gives us a breath of air, but the challenges remain as to how the special commercial manager will manage the refinery in Burgas. This was stated to BNT by the MP from the PP-DB Nadezhda Yordanova.

She is surprised by the government's choice of Rumen Spetsov as a special manager of "Lukoil". She emphasized that he has no experience in managing economic activities related to oil. Does being a tax inspector make him qualified to manage "Lukoil", Yordanova asked.

According to her, the processes must be reorganized in order to stop the financial flows to Russia. According to her, the government could have appointed a special manager from day one. For her, the delay is inexplicable.

She pointed out that the appointment of Spetsov creates the impression that a straw man, without experience, is taking the helm of "Lukoil Neftochim" Burgas. Yordanova emphasized that the figure of the special commercial manager hides risks. According to her, the adopted law differs from the German model, in which this person is subject to judicial control.

Regarding the Commission for Combating Corruption, she stated that it should be closed in its current form. The PP-DB MP emphasized that Boyko Borisov signed the coalition's request for the resignation of the head of the Anti-Corruption Commission Anton Slavchev, but his parliamentary group did not. Nadezhda Yordanova pointed out that this is hypocrisy.

The government only said that Budget 2026 is the most left-wing in 25 years. This is not the only possible budget. With this budget, the cabinet is declaring war on the middle class and business, Nadezhda Yordanova pointed out.

The crisis in justice is deepening. This is happening because a group of people refuse to implement the law, she added.
