Due to a broken cable at the Vrška Chuka border checkpoint (BCP) on the border with Serbia, the passage of heavy goods vehicles has been temporarily suspended. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Border Police - Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the department's website. The traffic information is as of 06:00 this morning.
Traffic is normal at the other border checkpoints on the borders with Serbia, Turkey and the Republic of North Macedonia.
Traffic on the border with Greece is also normal. Construction activities continue on the road from the Greek side to the destination of Rudozem - Xanthi. Greek authorities have posted signs indicating that the area is a construction site and that outsiders are not allowed to enter.
