I think that the decision to increase the price of paid hourly parking in Sofia by 100% has crossed the line of public tolerance and partnership between honest authorities and citizens.
Not a single new parking lot. Not a single real project. No vision. No strategy.
Just one madness: we are raising prices and expanding the zones.
Sofian residents do not deserve another joke.
Yes, it is a joke, because the revenues from the blue and green zones have never been managed in real solutions – only in patches, excuses and bureaucratic complacency.
Instead of building public parking lots, even paid, multi-storey facilities, incentives for public transport - we are told: “You are simple fools, pay double, we are the anointed chosen ones and your problems do not interest us!“
This time, however, we will not remain silent. ECTP will protect the rights of citizens.
We will challenge this decision in court - because someone must finally stop the uncontrolled financial greed, disguised as “city politics“.
