Today, the Head of State and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Rumen Radev will participate in the celebration of the Land Forces' Battle Day.
The celebration will take place in front of the Pantheon of those who died in the Serbian-Bulgarian War "Mother Bulgaria" near the village of Gurgulyat.
This year marks 147 years since the establishment of the Land Forces of Bulgaria and 140 years since the victory of the Bulgarian Army at Slivnitsa.
At 10:50 a.m., President Radev will receive the guard of honor. During the event, the head of state will deliver a speech and pay tribute to those who died in the Serbo-Bulgarian War in 1885, after which he will view a photo exhibition "In the Service of the People and the Homeland" and a static display of equipment, weapons and equipment.
