The internal committee heard the acting chairman of the State Security Agency, Denyo Denev

He highlighted to the deputies the three main priorities in his work

Overcoming the staff shortage in the State Security Agency, interaction with the prosecutor's office, security services, as well as the international activities of the agency.

These are the three priorities that the acting chairman of the State Security Agency, Denyo Denev, highlighted to the deputies of the internal committee in parliament. Denev is also a candidate for the position of titular. In response to a question related to the work of the agency and the fairness of the elections, Denev replied:

„The agency will perform all its functions under the law, which it has, to guarantee all elections held in the country. So far, there is an established practice in this direction. An order for interaction between the Prosecutor General, the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the State Security Agency has been signed, which clearly regulates the interaction between the institutions in connection with the normal course of the election process. "Each of the institutions fulfills its obligations under the law," Denev pointed out.
