The entire political class has reached rock bottom. This is not politics.
This reading of the political situation was made in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio by Cornelia Ninova, leader of "Unruly Bulgaria", former chairwoman of the BSP and former deputy prime minister and minister of economy and industry.
According to her, the majority is stable inside the parliament and "the more stable it looks there, the more unstable it becomes outside".
"They have dug in inside. Everything they produce as a product is a marriage."
They look bad in the parliamentary opposition because they fight among themselves, not unite, the former deputy prime minister noted.
Ninova notices"growing anger", which will intensify "when the economy stalls and collapses", which it will.
Budget 2026 is a budget "of lies, fraud and theft" and it is a lie that there is no alternative, she stated.
She reminded of the approved program for the sale of 4,400 state properties and added that "there is not a penny in the budget" provided for these sales, and the money should go into the silver fund for pensions.
She described the budget as "retrograde, turned to the past" and gave an example of being "a destination approved for AI", emphasizing that instead of Bulgaria giving money for the future, for the young and for new technologies, money is being given for gunpowder.
This is also an anti-cultural budget. 44,000 euros for an entire year have been set aside for 3,700 community centers, the leader of "Nepokorna Bulgaria" cited another example.
For the first time, we have a budget that is not accepted by either the unions or the business, and the business has very serious reasons. Dividend tax hits white business, Ninova reports.
"Looking at how brazen, arrogant, gluttonous, self-sufficient and complacent they are, with this powerful support from Peevski they will go all the way and it will eat their heads off."
The entire process of taking away the powers of the presidential institution was a mistake, believes Cornelia Ninova, according to whom a special law should have been made for the official offices, in which a framework should have been set for them.
More referendums should be held, there should be more direct democracy, she is convinced. Regarding the referendum on the euro, in the president's place, Ninova would submit the proposal a second time to see "what these nice guys will do", but admitted that legally "the opportunity has already been missed".
"Kiselova is a product of the backstage, she was installed there. They used her and threw her away. When you have sold both your diploma and your dignity to the devil, that's what will happen."
Ninova also expressed doubts that President Rumen Radev is completely sincere in his criticism of the ruling party and added that there are facts in the president's behavior that make her think, "that he is not always sincere in this fight".
"Let's see what the president will do. Will he participate, will he not, when, before, after the term expires, how many deputies he will get. It is too early to predict for the unborn Petko", said Cornelia Ninova about the possible party project of the head of state.
Spetsov in "Lukoil" cannot cope if he does not have a team, so it is very important to monitor who is around him and what he does. He has uncontrolled power, emphasized the leader of "Unruly Bulgaria" and former chairman of the BSP.
Everything is refracted through the topic of the judicial system. The whole life is refracted through the topic of justice, she also said. In her words, there needs to be a radical change from the top.
"They did it to Kotsev, but he is a special case. The lack of justice and the feeling that the judicial system does not work objectively is the most important topic."
"In order for this coalition not to fall apart, it is not compromises, it is already beyond the limit of principles, ideas, human dignity, political morality. It is rock bottom in both parties (BSP and ITN – editor's note), but they will achieve the fate of all those whom Borisov and Peevski embrace, use, destroy, throw away and move forward without them," she pointed out about her former party and its participation in the government. According to her, in politics "there have always been conformists who move to where the power is", but it is important to fight for them to be a minority,
In conclusion, Ninova said that she was "the only one who did not agree to sit on the lap of Peevski and Borisov, despite the many offers, pressure, and slander" and predicted that since "Borisov is evil for Bulgaria", until he is removed, we will not move forward.
"As long as he manipulates, plays with everyone, ruins the state, we will not move."
