Heavy storm clouds, accompanied by torrential rain and sharp gusts of wind, covered Burgas today shortly after 12:00. The change in weather occurred extremely quickly, with the sky over the seaside city turning black in just 20 minutes, and conditions deteriorating significantly.
According to information from "Flagman", the city center emptied literally in minutes on Sunday. Many commercial establishments have limited their activities due to the lack of visitors and bad weather conditions.
Cold weather forecast
Forecastors predict that the precipitation will continue for several hours, bringing with it a noticeable drop in temperatures. Although the sea water temperature remains unusually high for the season – between 18 and 22 degrees, experts warn of the possible formation of light snow cover in certain parts of the country.
The sea is currently about 1-2 points, but there is a risk that it will increase with continued strong gusts of wind.

Experts advise residents and guests of the city to avoid going outside at the first signs of a thunderstorm. It is advisable not to stay in open, high spaces during the intense phenomena that are characteristic of this transitional season and often occur suddenly.
