From the decisions of the deputies concerning healthcare and the budget, it became clear that they are trying to lie to the people. We have been negotiating for over half a year now, but all the bills that we worked on for so long were rejected. The explanation was that they came up with a better one. But what the deputies proposed is a blind eye. We wanted a real reform of the distribution of money in the healthcare system, so that it actually reaches young doctors. Our goal is not only payment, but they made it so that the focus was mainly on that. If our demands are not met, the prosthetists will continue. This is how the general practitioner, who is part of the protesting young doctors, Dr. Daniel Kiprov commented on the decisions of the members of parliament regarding the budget for next year in the healthcare section.
„The members of parliament decided to make a transfer from the central budget - our taxes, because they do not want to affect the interests of specific people and there to be redistribution. So in this bottomless pit - our healthcare, even more money will be poured. They themselves could not name a mechanism by which the money would reach us. They gave the Health Insurance Fund and the Supervisory Board to invent it”, explained the doctor on the air of „Your Day” on NOVA NEWS. He added that the goal was to stop the protests.
Dr. Kiprov also explained that the NHIF is assigned the function of distributing the budget to municipal hospitals on a targeted basis. And he stressed that it is not clear why the MPs have settled on the amount of 260 million euros for the healthcare budget.
He pointed out that this money will be transferred from the budget to hospitals, but it is not clear how, to which healthcare institutions and whether the funds will reach the doctors on the front line. "It may happen again that some people who have more than enough funds from the Health Fund will take more from taxes and the state budget. And the doctors on the front line will receive the same salaries. People will be lied to that our problems have been solved”, the doctor said.
Dr. Kiprov also added that the issue of transparency of specializations has not been resolved.
