As a measure against property fraud, access to notarial acts will be restricted from January next year. This will become possible after the cabinet approves changes to the registration regulations.
Minister of Justice Georgi Georgiev explained:
"We are limiting the possibility of completely uncontrolled access to extremely sensitive information, such as notarial acts, because you already have the important information from them in the free report. There are no restrictions there, but the notarial act contains data about your bank account, your name, signature and other, very sensitive information. We are putting an end to this thing, starting from January 15."
