Protesters against the adoption of the budget blocked traffic in the so-called "Triangle of Power" in the center of Sofia. The organizers of the demonstration are the "We Continue the Change" police force. There is a strong police presence in the area.

The official start time for the protest is 6:00 p.m., but people had gathered in front of the National Assembly building to watch the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance in an organized manner.
The agenda of today's meeting includes a vote on the second reading of the draft budget of the State Social Insurance Fund (SSS) and that of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF). The meeting began with tension between Asen Vassilev from the PP-DB parliamentary group and the chairman of the committee Delyan Dobrev from the GERB-SDF parliamentary group.
It was caused by the premature start of the meeting, which started at 12:15 p.m., and was announced for 2:30 p.m. Vassilev insisted on waiting for the scheduled time and blocked the committee's activities until then.
