The draft budget for next year enters second reading in the relevant Committee on Budget and Finance.
Before that, deputies will vote finally in the plenary hall on the changes to the Law on Public Enterprises.
The amendments provide that public enterprises must introduce a corruption risk management system and have an integrity officer. This officer will conduct periodic training on employee behavior and the implementation of the Code of Ethics. This law is part of the national Recovery and Resilience Plan.
On the first reading, the agenda includes discussion of changes to two more laws - on value added tax and on brands and geographical indications, which introduce European directives into national legislation.
A meeting of the relevant Budget Committee is scheduled for the early afternoon - at 2:15 p.m., at which the draft state budget plan for next year will be discussed on second reading.
