The Burgas Customs territorial directorate announced a public sale through a secret auction of various goods, including mobile phones and accessories for them, construction materials, textile products - clothes, fabrics, bed linen, shoes, the "Customs" Agency announced.
The sale is carried out in accordance with the Tax and Social Security Procedure Code (TSPC). The goods were seized during customs inspections at the Kapitan Andreevo Customs Point in the period from 2021 to 2024 and the pre-trial or administrative criminal proceedings have already been concluded for them.
The goods were declared in 20 groups, one of which included 200 smartphones found during a customs inspection of a passenger car traveling from Bulgaria to Turkey. The mobile phones were hidden around the engine.
Another group included parts for a hunting rifle and a cartridge loading machine, which customs officers found hidden in boxes among the luggage of a Turkish citizen traveling to Germany. 1050 vaporizer heads for electronic hookahs, which a Bulgarian citizen traveling to Turkey hid around his waist with stretch film, are also being sold at auction.
Those wishing to participate in the auction must submit an application form for each group separately, as well as a price offer. A deposit is also required for participation in the auction for each group of goods.
Applications for participation in the auction are submitted to the registry office of the Burgas Customs Territorial Directorate in Svilengrad, 1 Asen Iliev Street.
