"I am glad that Boyko Borisov, with his political instinct, made the right decision yesterday morning - to withdraw Budget 2026. This is the right action to give everyone a chance to at least be heard."

He said this in the morning block of Nova TV"Hello, Bulgaria” Rosen Plevneliev, President of Bulgaria (2012 - 2017) .

He commented on the decision to withdraw our country's first budget in euros.

Plevneliev carefully observed the protest in the "Triangle of Power".

"There were people who drank their beer and then threw the bottles.

But there were an extraordinary number of real young people who, in a natural way, showed why they were there and what they were fighting for," he emphasized.

There are three important moments for next year, the president believes.

"First of all, Bulgaria's entry into the Economic Cooperation Organization in mid-June. Second is the recovery plan, there are still 6 billion left. And the third is the good name of Bulgaria," he said and added: "We are entering the eurozone broken, battered. And this is the future of our children."

Plevneliev stated categorically that Borisov is a good man and assured that he is the lesser evil than Rumen Radev with his fist raised.
