A state of emergency was also declared in the Ardino municipality, "Nova TV" reported.
The order is from the mayor, Eng. Izet Shaban, and the reason is the torrential rainfall on November 27 and 28.
The measure covers six settlements in the municipality - Rusalsko, Lyubino, Latinka, Avramovo, Pesnopoy and Spoluka.
The places were left without a road connection after the reinforced concrete bridge over the Arda River near the village of Kitnitsa was flooded by the incoming waters.
The order prohibits the movement and residence of motor vehicles in the designated critical areas. The bridge, which is part of the republican road network, is the only transport link for residents of the affected settlements.
