The government apparently did not hear the big protest and did not submit its resignation, today, as we promised, we submitted a vote of no confidence in the government, announced the chairman of “We Continue the Change“ Assen Vassilev at a briefing to journalists in parliament.

He pointed out that this is the first vote with the active participation of the youngest generation of the country. The future belongs to them and we are obliged to ensure it, said Vassilev.

If the government does not resign, we will call an even bigger protest than the one on December 1, added Vassilev.

"Let Peevski stop playing the ethnic card. He is trying to use the Bulgarian Roma and Turks as human shields. I understand that on Saturday he is gathering the regional coordinators and mayors to give them instructions on how to organize counter-protests. Social networks are full of angry posts from people that Peevski calls them brothers", said Ivaylo Mirchev.

We introduced the vote with the support of the "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" and MECH. We expect it to be supported by everyone with a little political instinct left, said MP Bozhidar Bozanov.
