Everything that we agreed with the social partners and with the society is a fact in the new draft budget, so at this stage there is no reason to reconsider our participation in the government. This was stated to journalists by the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the coalition “BSP - United Left“ Atanas Zafirov in Nikolaevo, where he is an official guest at the city's holiday. He emphasized that the coalition has stated that they will reconsider their participation in the government if social benefits are not protected in the budget.

When asked whether "BSP - United Left" is ready for early elections, Zafirov replied that the topic of elections is always on the agenda in society and politics. "We are always ready for elections, there is no reason to worry, because everything we do is public and for the public", he said.

The Deputy Prime Minister also commented on the protests demanding the resignation of the government, pointing out that the coalition is hearing from the people about the protest. As you can see, a large part of the things that caused this tension are reflected in the budget, and the resignation of the government is not on the agenda, he explained.

Atanas Zafirov pointed out that he was in Nikolaevo to break the ground for a project to asphalt a central street and to open a water supply system, which solves a long-standing problem. "It is very important to know that for us the most important thing is to have stability, predictability and that the investment process in the country does not stop", he emphasized.
