Teams of the road maintenance company are clearing the collapsed rock and earth mass in the area of the village of Karnare on the second-class road II-35 Troyan – Karnare /at the 117th km/. Employees of the Regional Road Administration - Plovdiv are also on site, assisting in clearing the roadway in the section after the village of Karnare in the direction of Troyan for the faster restoration of traffic through the Troyan Pass. The work is being carried out with full mobilization, with 5 machines on the ground. The reason for the landslide on the roadway is the heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours.
The passage through the Troyan Pass will be restored immediately after the roadway is cleared and safe passage is ensured.
The “Road Infrastructure“ Agency appeals to drivers to drive carefully, to observe traffic rules and speed limits, and not to undertake risky overtaking that endangers the safety of all other travelers.
