„We saw many angry people at the protest. Many people who do not want anyone to make fun of them. Many people who have never been to protests before. Many young people who have not seen anyone else govern them in the last 15 years, except for the Borisov-Peevski duo“.

This was said in „120 minutes“ Ivaylo Mirchev, co-chairman of „Yes, Bulgaria“.

„Now we have an amendment to the only possible budget and it has one possible answer - don't make us fools. In this budget, the purely marketing-related tax increases and insurance. Things that we insisted on and said were crazy“, commented Mirchev.

„But the debt remains the same, the deficit is even bigger. There is not a single reform. All tax and insurance increases have been postponed for a year. This budget is worse than the previous one“, he said.

According to him, young doctors were again not mentioned.

„There is no guarantee for them. The only thing that is certain is the money for the infrastructure, but Peevski, through the Bulgarian Development Bank, decides which mayor to give the money“, Ivaylo Mirchev also said.

He stated that the opinion is being instilled that there were chants against Turks and Roma at the protest in Sofia.

„Peevski opened Ahmed Dogan's politics textbook and read that when "It's hot, bring out the ethnic card. And he did that," said Mirchev.

„Borisov took an interesting first step – he said that he would initiate the closure of the „Soros“ commission. I will urge him to take the next step – to remove Delyan Peevski's security. The reason for it is a false signal that Russian military intelligence came to our country to kill him more than two years ago“, the co-chairman of „Yes, Bulgaria“ also stated.

He added that Peevski has twice as much security as the president of Bulgaria.

„We are submitting a proposal for a machine vote, as well as for the „Magnitsky“ sanctions to be included in Bulgarian legislation, so that Peevski can be adequately sanctioned. Then perhaps Borisov in will distance himself from Peevski to some extent“, believes Ivaylo Mirchev.

„However, the truth is that Borisov cannot do it, he does not have the courage, he is a coward. For this reason, we must go to elections“, he added.

If the government does not resign, Mirchev said that the protests will continue. There will also be legislative initiatives.

„We will not stop, this time we are determined“, he was categorical.

Mirchev also said that Rumen Radev has not given any indications that he will enter the political arena.

„We have quite serious geopolitical differences with the president regarding Ukraine, his view of Russia. But on the other hand, I see an authentic battle there regarding Peevski, which does not mean anything“, said Ivaylo Mirchev.
