In the coming days, the organization of traffic will be temporarily changed in sections of the Struma highway in the Kyustendil region for warranty repairs of joints on facilities. The goal is to increase traffic safety during the winter months.
On December 9, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., work will be carried out on the bridge at km 88 of the Struma highway in the direction of Blagoevgrad. Traffic will be limited in the active lane and access to the emergency lane in the section. Traffic will only pass in the overtaking lane, dariknews.bg reported.
On December 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., repair work will be carried out at the 62nd km of the Struma Motorway in the direction of Blagoevgrad. Traffic will be redirected to the expressway lane and entry into the active and emergency lanes will be suspended.
On December 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., work will be carried out on the joints of the facility at the 68th km of the Struma Motorway in the direction of Blagoevgrad. Traffic will only be in the expressway lane, and entry into the active and emergency lanes will be limited. At the same time, repair work will also be carried out on the bridge at the 88th km also in the Blagoevgrad lane. Traffic in the overtaking lane will be limited, as vehicles will move into the active lane.
The “Road Infrastructure“ Agency apologizes to drivers for the inconvenience caused, but the activities are necessary to ensure traffic safety. Drivers are urged to drive carefully, follow traffic rules, speed limits and not undertake risky overtaking that endangers the safety of all other travelers.
