Bulgaria will enter the euro without an adopted regular budget and with a resigned government. The topic was commented on in the studio of "The Day Begins" by the president of the Podkrepa Coalition Dimitar Manolov.

"This is not development, stagnation. Survival. We are returning to where we were last year at this time," he said.

According to him, there were better options for a budget solution:

"There were certainly better options than what is happening to us now," Manolov pointed out, recalling that there was also an alternative version of the budget.

"After version 1.0 of the budget, which everyone criticized, we created budget 2.0, which was far better from many points of view," he said, adding that this option also failed.

According to him, the funds earmarked for some public media outlets have collapsed to previous levels.

"What we managed to squeeze out for BNT, BTA, BNR is not in question – actually collapsed to the levels at which it was additionally determined", said Manolov.

He warned that municipalities would also be seriously affected.

"They will be left without investment opportunities for a long period of time", he said, specifying that this period will hardly be shorter than the middle of the year.
