It will stop raining almost throughout the country overnight, and the wind in most of the country will subside by the morning.
The minimum temperatures tomorrow will be between minus 7° and 3°, in Sofia – around minus 1°.
Code yellow - a warning for icy weather, in which temperatures during the day remain below zero, has been announced in Northern Bulgaria for ten districts, where the maximum temperatures will be no more than minus 2° - minus 1°. These are the districts of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Razgrad and Targovishte.
In the rest of the country, values from 0° to 8° are expected in the afternoon, in Sofia - around 4°.
During the day, cloudiness will temporarily decrease, but then increase again, first in the northeastern regions. There will be a weak, in northeastern Bulgaria - a moderate wind from the west-northwest, which will intensify after noon.
In the mountains, a moderate and strong wind from the west-northwest will blow. The maximum temperatures on our highest peaks will be around minus 6 - minus 5 degrees.
In the coming days until the end of this and in the first half of the new week, cloudiness will be variable, more often significant. Only in isolated places, mainly in the northeastern and mountainous regions, will there be light snowfalls. The wind will be oriented from the northwest, and on Sunday in Southwestern Bulgaria it will be moderate to strong, in the rest of the country - strong. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 5° and 0°, and the maximum - between 1° and 6°.
In the Danube Plain, the snow cover will persist and the temperatures there will remain 2-3° lower.
