At the request of the mayor of the village of Gelemenovo - Svetlana Andreeva, the employees of „Irrigation Systems“ EAD - Topolnitsa branch are stopping the work on the restoration of the broken Telki Dere dam. Also at her request and after threats, the heavy equipment, as well as the employees of the branch, will leave the village land. This was announced by the company and added:
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food is about to file a report with the Prosecutor's Office that the company cannot fulfill its statutory obligations and carry out immediate repairs.
We recall that teams of the Topolnitsa branch are working on site around the clock and monitoring the level of the river in order to prevent new flooding.
