GERB will not fight Mr. Radev and his political subject, GERB will leave Mr. Radev to fight reality. This was stated to journalists by the deputy chairwoman of the GERB-SDF parliamentary group Denitsa Sacheva in response to a question from BTA regarding the resignation of President Rumen Radev and how his participation in the elections will affect GERB's results.

Yesterday, Rumen Radev, in an address to the Bulgarian people, announced that he would submit his resignation to the Constitutional Court as president. Today, it has already been deposited with the Constitutional Court.

GERB will lead a constructive campaign that will be around these pillars that I outlined a moment ago, related to a strong economy, Sacheva pointed out. We rely on all our members and supporters, we rely, of course, on the periphery, on all people who want real politics, made by real politicians, she pointed out.

Sacheva commented that Radev's statement yesterday did not contain any specifics, neither regarding his intentions, nor regarding his possible platform with which he would appear in the elections.

The time for moral monologues and ceremonies is over. We are glad that on the ground we will be able to see something more concrete in terms of a program, in terms of a team, and all the things that are related to real politics and real governance, because that is where it is proven who can and cannot work for Bulgaria, commented the deputy chairman of the GERB-SDF PG.

We want to concentrate on what is important for GERB, namely to capitalize on our membership in the eurozone, because true sovereignty goes through a strong economy. These will be our topics - economy, investments, innovations, said Sacheva.
