"Every person or party that contributes to Sofia being treated more fairly is welcome", Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev commented to journalists about the resignation of President Rumen Radev.
According to Terziev, there will be a stir on the political terrain.
I am most excited about when and how things will change so that Sofia can be treated fairly, he said. According to him, it remains to be seen what the program will be, in what format Radev would appear in the elections, geopolitical orientation and priorities.
“To receive the money that is due to it for infrastructure projects, so that we are not punished and the work for the city is not hindered”, added the mayor of the capital.
On January 19, in a special address to the nation, Rumen Radev announced that he would submit his resignation to the Constitutional Court.
On Tuesday, the Constitutional Court opened a case regarding the resignation.
