"Andrey Gyurov is clearly the most competent in the "house book", economist and former Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Pekanov told BNT.
"But his path was blocked by an absolutely fabricated story", he added in the studio of the morning block "The Day Begins".
According to him, the past week was historic for Bulgaria. The reason is Rumen Radev's decision.
"A very brave and historic decision by the president", Pekanov believes.
And he explained that at the moment he cannot engage in politics.
"In the short term, my professional commitments do not allow me to engage in politics, but I support what is happening. We need reforms," explained the former deputy prime minister.
