Legislative changes that will allow the construction of new slopes and lifts and a bill for the development of national resorts will be on the agenda of the deputies next week. This became clear after the postponed meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Tourism, which was held today in Pamporovo.
The problems in winter resorts, such as Pamporovo, are not new. The first is accessibility.
Sabi Madankov– Chairman of the Hoteliers' Association: “The main problems of Pamporovo are parking, the issue mainly concerns the alienation of land, property.“
Stefan Prisadov – Pamporovo Executive Director: “All resorts are facing extremely great difficulties in replacing facilities, I say replacement, let alone, it is not at all on the agenda to be asked for new avenues for the construction of new facilities. So legislative changes are needed there in this direction as well.“
These problems were discussed at the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Tourism.

Measures are also needed to improve the connectivity of resorts with key infrastructure.
