Nikolai Mladenov is certain to refuse Borisov's offer because he currently holds one of the highest-ranking international positions as President Trump's high representative for Gaza in his Peace Council.
And top banker Dimitar Radev is unlikely to leave the respected post of governor of the Bulgarian National Bank in a political battle that is not clear that it will be successful.
Iliyana Yotova has every chance of winning the presidential battle, as the upcoming year will provide people's ability to convince themselves of her qualities as a head of state.
Kristalina Georgieva's chances are far more modest, because she is not so recognizable in the country, unless Borisov convinces the right-wing spectrum of the PP-DB to support her.
