An 18-year-old boy has ended his life in the Batak village of Nova Mahala. It is said that the cause was serious bullying by a teacher. This is clear from a number of publications in the media and social networks.
The boy's lifeless body was discovered on January 22. The initial examination of the investigators indicates that 18-year-old Bilgin Alishev committed suicide. His body was found by a girl from his class.
The students say that as soon as the teacher found out about what happened, she declared that the reason was not in her.
His classmates claim that the boy has been bullied by a teacher at their school for 4 years. The youth organized a protest with shouts of "Resignation" in the corridors of the school.
According to them, the boy has repeatedly shared about the teacher's violence - with external experts-guests at open lessons with the principal, with teachers - and classmates are witnesses. The boy has also shared about the traumatic experiences with his mother. The mother is divorced and is raising the boy alone - she says that she still advised her son to try to ignore the bullying and forgive the teacher, to try to respect her and comply with her requirements.
The classmates say that at these moments the school told them to be quiet and told them not to touch the topic and not to talk about such things. Many of the children were scared and kept quiet - they backed away after their own teachers promised them "bad consequences".
However, according to them, other students were systematically bullied and humiliated in the same way as Bilgin Alishev. No one took action and the teacher remained unpunished.
In 2021, the boy first said that he wanted to jump out of the classroom window and his classmates dissuaded him - thus he became the object of ridicule from some classmates. Having become a victim of already systematic bullying and public humiliation from all his social circles - the boy isolated himself, closed himself off, stopped sharing, fell into depression. The classmates who supported him in difficult moments say that the boy began to self-harm daily, while they were terrified and powerless to help him. When the children turn to the adults, according to their story - they mock the victim's condition and advise his classmates to stay away from him.
Many students claim that in 2022-2023. even if the victim fails to say "Good morning!" to her, the teacher uses this to call out and insult his mother.
Meetings are held at the teacher's initiative with the principals, but they repeatedly stand behind the teacher.
According to information on social networks, the teacher in question is the wife of the former mayor of the village - who is also a primary teacher at the same school.
In their stories, the students indicate that she even calls her husband and other teachers in the class and together they harass the student with humiliation and mockery.
