The partial state of emergency in the Ardino municipality has been lifted

The measure applied to six settlements - the villages of Rusalsko, Lyubino, Latinka, Avramovo, Pesnopoy and Spoluka

The mayor of the Ardino municipality, Eng. Izet Shaban, lifted the partial state of emergency introduced on January 27, as a result of the heavy rainfall that fell on January 26 and 27 on the territory of the municipality.

The measure applied to six settlements - the villages of Rusalsko, Lyubino, Latinka, Avramovo, Pesnopoy and Spoluka, the municipality announced.

The reason for its introduction was the flooding of the reinforced concrete bridge over the Arda River, located on a national road in the area of the village of Kitnitsa, which is the only road connection to these settlements.

After the water level dropped, crossing the bridge is possible again, and access to the affected villages is completely restored.

The bridge is essential for transport connectivity and for the normal course of daily life for residents of the settlements.
