The weather in the country will be under the influence of a Mediterranean cyclone. It will be mainly cloudy, in places in the plains – and foggy.
After a temporary weakening and cessation of precipitation, before noon from the south they will become active again and by the evening will cover almost the entire country. Significant amounts of precipitation will be in Southern Bulgaria. Thunderstorms are also possible in the southeastern regions.
In Northwestern Bulgaria there will be almost no precipitation. The wind will weaken and will briefly orient from the south-southeast, and after noon – from the north-northeast and in the evening in Northeastern Bulgaria it will strengthen. Maximum temperatures will be mainly between 7° and 12°, slightly higher in Eastern Bulgaria, in Sofia – around 7°.
On the Black Sea coast it will be mostly cloudy with rain showers, which will start around noon from the south and by the end of the evening will cover the entire coast. Before noon, a weak to moderate wind will blow from the southwest, and after noon the wind will orient itself from the southeast and will briefly strengthen. Maximum temperatures will be between 10° and 14°. The temperature of the sea water is 6° - 8°. The sea waves will be around 3 points.
In the mountains it will be mostly cloudy, in the massifs in Southern Bulgaria – with snowfall, below 1600 meters – from rain. In many areas, precipitation will be significant in quantity. After noon, precipitation will also occur in the Stara Planina. Before noon the wind will be strong from the southwest, after noon it will weaken and for a short time it will orient from the southeast, and in the evening - from the northeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 5°, at 2000 meters - about minus 1°.
On Friday cloudy weather will prevail. In many places there will be rain, significant - in places in the southeastern half of the country. With moderate, in Eastern Bulgaria and temporarily strong, northwest, later in the day - northeast, wind will blow cold air, temperatures will drop and by the evening in places in Northern Bulgaria the rain will turn into snow. Minimum temperatures will be between 0° to 5°, maximum - between 3° to 8°, in places in Eastern Bulgaria - up to 10° - 12°.
After a temporary cessation of precipitation, on Saturday from the southwest they will become active again. In Southern Bulgaria and along the Black Sea coast it will rain, and in Northern Bulgaria and on the high fields - snow. From the northeast with moderate, in Eastern Bulgaria - and temporarily strong, wind cold air will invade and temperatures will drop.
