The Deputy Governor of the BNB Andrey Gyurov accepted the post of acting prime minister, a FOCUS reporter reported. He himself stated this to journalists.
"What I told her is that fair elections can only be held with honest cooperation between all institutions that have heard the squares and understood what the people want," he said.
The Deputy Governor of the BNB said that he accepts the post of acting prime minister, but on one condition. “Yes, to this question I can say the following: I shared with Madam President that I am ready to take responsibility if this happens under clear principles and without hidden conditions. By principles I mean that Bulgaria is Europe, and fair elections are held in Europe. We can have fair elections when an official government does not interfere in the political arena, it is sufficiently neutral, equidistant from all parties and works only within the framework of the powers granted to it by the Constitution,” stated Gyurov.
