Bulgaria and GERB are a reliable and predictable partner in the European Union and NATO. I assured the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen of this during a conversation within the framework of the EPP Summit in Zagreb, the party leader Boyko Borissov wrote on his "Facebook" profile.
"Our country has always worked to increase Europe's competitiveness and its security. In this context, I informed the President of the EC about the process of building the strategic military-industrial plant between „Rheinmetall” and Bulgaria on the territory of our country. It will create over 1,000 new jobs, and the production will combine German know-how and the traditions and standards of the Bulgarian military industry," notes the GERB leader.
Boyko Borisov participates in the European People's Party Summit, which is taking place in Zagreb.
