Sofia Municipality terminates an established scheme for abuses of the “Park and Ride“ function at two buffer parking lots of the Center for Urban Mobility – parking lot “James Boucher“ with 577 spaces and parking lot “Vasil Levski Stadium“ with 193 spaces.
The decision was made in the first days of the mandate of Deputy Mayor for Transport Viktor Chaushev, after analysis and inspections of the video surveillance, travel reporting and hourly parking systems, the municipality reported.
More information will be provided by Chaushev at a scheduled briefing today at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Sofia Municipality building.
As FAKTI reported earlier,from February 16, 2026, citizens who use combined transport - a personal car and the metro, will no longer be able to park for free on the territory of both the parking lot.
