The world has fallen into radical viewpoints, Bulgaria too. There is no ideological agenda, economies are changing. Until 10 years ago, we were used to having very complex production cycles, some in 10-15 countries, and now some politicians are trying to replace this type of construction and replace it with a national one. There are real things behind the curtain politics and people feel them. This was stated by political scientist Dimitar Avramov in the program “From the Day” on BNT.
The presidency is a weaker institution at the moment. Before the changes to the Constitution, the president could choose the figure of a prime minister and had to defend his choice. Currently, the presidential institution can shift the responsibility to someone else. We are turning into a public sphere in which there is no choice in anything, he pointed out. The caretaker prime minister must reassure the people who protested that there will be fair elections, Avramov said.
Whatever the president's name is, the responsibility is his. The constitution has given him a framework, the analyst pointed out.
There is no predictability in political representation in the way of making policy, the only important thing is the configuration due to the emergence of a new player, he explained.
For as long as I can remember, someone has been saving society from the oligarchy. As I see it, every attempt develops it and creates more and more serious breeding ground for it. It is very bad to take the side of politicians before something has happened. The questions that every candidate for power asks are: What will the taxes be for next year? What will the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs be? How big will the state structures be? People came out to protest because of the systematic use of state institutions for private gain. We must balance Bulgaria's economic development and from there launch our institutions, explained Dimitar Avramov.
According to him, the election campaign will be sluggish, cowardly and devoid of content.
