The date of April 19 does not correspond to the concept of quick elections. April 19 is no longer quick. Quick will be March 29. But at the moment this is the date on which the elections will be held. This was said by the MP from "Vazrazhdane" Dimo Drenchev on the air of BNT.

According to him, a caretaker government should be appointed as soon as possible and a date for elections should be set.

"The second round of consultations is unnecessary and delays the exit from the political crisis. Currently, Rumen Radev is being given time to gather people for his party," Drenchev believes. And he explained that the government in resignation is not working in the interest of Bulgarians.

Drenchev also commented on the changes in the Electoral Code, according to which the number of sections abroad is limited. "We are proposing this in the 48th, 49th, 50th and 51st National Assembly. We have always said that Turkey's interference should be limited. There will be a problem in two countries. One country is the USA, where the problem is not so big, because few people vote. There will be a problem in Great Britain - there people will have to wait in lines", he added.

Regarding Radev's possible participation in the upcoming elections, Dimo Drenchev said: "The positions that Radev's project uses are literally copied from our program". And he outlined serious ideological differences between the two formations: "He is positioned much more Euro-Atlantic, while "Vazrazhdane" stands for the principles of sovereign states."
