Dimitrov: Every month without a budget means suffering for systems and the economy

1 billion euros for salaries, 1 billion euros for pensions, another half a billion for social benefits - this is 2.6 billion out of the 3 billion "expenditure ceiling" that can be used

The state needs a budget with clear parameters. I don't know if it's possible in this political situation. Bulgaria currently cannot take money under the SAFE program for defense. This was stated to bTV by the president of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions Plamen Dimitrov.

And he stated that the earliest a budget will be available will be in June.

"This parliament and this government have no legitimacy for a budget. The fact that we don't have a budget now is better than the orgy that has happened in recent years - indiscriminate spending on consumption, not on investments," said Vasil Velev from the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria (AIKB).

"Every month without a budget means suffering of systems and the economy. The sooner a budget is possible, the better", said Dimitrov.

"1 billion euros for salaries, 1 billion euros for pensions, another half a billion for social benefits - these are 2.6 billion out of the 3 billion expenditure ceiling", which can be used, revealed Dimitrov.

"Employment is growing in the budget sector and in services, not in industrialization, said Velev.
