Over the past 24 hours, 11 serious road accidents have occurred in the country, in which 13 people were injured, no deaths. This was reported on its website by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
One serious and 44 minor accidents were registered in Sofia, one person was injured.
Since the beginning of the month, three people have died in 80 road accidents in the country, and 93 have been injured.
Since the beginning of the year, 40 people have lost their lives in accidents, 601 injured. The registered serious road accidents since the beginning of 2026 are 493. When compared with the actual data on the deaths (39) during the same period in 2025, one more traffic participants died in 2026.
