I assume that on Wednesday or Thursday there will be an invitee who will present the composition of the government. And on February 18/19, there should be a decree appointing a caretaker prime minister. This was stated by Assoc. Prof. Natalia Kiselova, former Speaker of the National Assembly.
"Previously, 1-2 people from the list of officials responded to an invitation and the procedure for appointing a caretaker prime minister was different under Rumen Radev, now there are 5 candidates and because of this, the consultations are different under President Yotova."
The caretaker government will be sworn in at the National Assembly, she added.
According to Kiselova, Yotova will not schedule the elections on Catholic or Orthodox Easter, as she would face criticism.
And she stated that the problem with voting abroad is not the amount that Bulgaria must allocate for organization, but the fact that there is no information about how many Bulgarian voters there are around the world.
"Within the framework of the Electoral Code procedure, there was a decision by the BSP group to vote according to conscience, I voted "against" for the scanning devices and "abstained" for the sections. Ms. Yotova is very likely to veto it."
