Dozens organized themselves on social networks after a video in which the mother claims that there was sexual abuse by the father towards their daughter.
„A type of violence was inflicted on my daughter - sexual. This was confirmed by four doctors who examined her, she confirmed to the doctors themselves what happened. The perpetrator of this is her father“, said the mother Margarita Kutiyska.
The two have been fighting cases for custody and domestic violence for years. The father claims that the injuries were from an accident on a playground and that he did not harm the child.
The man arrived with police protection, and on his way out he was attacked by protesters. According to the lawyer, he and his relatives have received over 200 threats, including for murder.
“I guarantee you that the truth will come out, I am ready to take a polygraph, I have nothing to hide“, commented the father Panayot Yanushev.
The District Prosecutor's Office has been working on the case for four months. A forensic medical examination, which is key in the investigation, is expected.
