Krasimir Karakachanov: Gyurov's main task is to stop vote buying

President Iliana Yotova made an expected and logical move - appointed Andrey Gyurov as acting Prime Minister, considered the furthest from the status quo compared to the rest of the so-called "home book". Another choice would mean support for the current regime. This is stated in the position of the leader of VMRO Krasimir Karakachanov to the media.

The leader of VMRO is categorical that the main task before the acting Prime Minister is to mobilize the competent authorities in terms of personnel and organization so that they can stop vote buying as much as possible. The trade has long begun and urgent measures need to be taken. This will show whether he is a representative of those politicians who want to change the vicious system or whether he has also become dependent on the current establishment. In this sense, we expect to see his choice of cabinet. It would be a mistake for any of the current ministers and their deputies to remain in their posts. If there is going to be change, let it be until the end.

Krassimir Karakachanov also recalled the position of VMRO - Bulgarian National Movement: the acting prime minister should not make strategic commitments on behalf of Bulgaria, should not sign important international documents, nor should he take out more loans.

Let us not forget, however, that Andrey Gyurov is part of the same "assembly" that, together with Peevski and Borisov, tampered with the Constitution. And we should also not forget that he is part of that party from the “assembly“, whose name has now shone as a sponsor and political umbrella of the pedophile-sectarian case in Petrokhan, Karakachanov warned.

We from VMRO will carefully monitor the actions of Andrey Gyurov in his capacity as acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria - they must be aimed solely at the organization and fairness of the early elections.
