Rumen Radev used his Facebook profile to make his first comment on the election of President Iliana Yotova as acting Prime Minister. Earlier today it became clear that Yotova had chosen Andrey Gyurov for the post after the consultations held by the candidates from the so-called. "home book", as well as with the parties represented in parliament.
Here is the entire post by Rumen Radev without editorial intervention:
"President Yotova made the optimal choice for acting prime minister within the framework of the Constitution crippled by the assembly.
I hope that Mr. Gyurov will justify the expectations of Bulgarian citizens for fair elections with his actions and I wish him wisdom, principle and sustainability.
Meanwhile, in its last hours, the Borisov-Peevski cabinet granted a quarter of the state railway's passenger transportation to a private company. In the style typical of Bulgarian privatization, the private company will receive the rolling stock and trained personnel of BDZ as a dowry.
Vote in April. To put an end to the robbery!"
