„It is not surprising to me that things have not been clarified for so long, because we are talking about something terrifying - these are six corpses. It will be very difficult to get to the truth“, said Dr. Tsvetislava Galabova, director of the National Psychiatric Hospital “St. Ivan Rilski", in connection with the “Petrohan-Okolchitsa“ case.
She specified that in this case too she chooses to believe what the institutions say.
Tihomir Bezlov from the Center for the Study of Democracy described what happened at “Petrohan“ as a very complex case with very atypical circumstances for Bulgaria.
“New facts emerge every day“, he said in connection with last night's interview with Mirolyuba Benatova and Genka Shekerova with the mother of a boy who was in Ivaylo Kalushev's group for years.
Her son is the first to share that there was a sexual assault against him by Kalushev. The mother, however, says that she did not believe him for a moment and calls her son the "moral murderer" of the six.
„After this interview, I am getting closer to the official version, but I have never seen a society so divided in a criminal case. The supporters of one and the other version are like two sects“, commented Bezlov.
„I was very impressed by Kalushev's post that you cannot be peaceful without showing cruelty, and that a peaceful person without cruelty is harmless. There are too many things that fit together in a terrifying puzzle that raises many questions“, said Galabova for her part.
She asked how parents entrust their child to someone, how they allow the child to not go to school for years? What are these alternative methods and practices that have infiltrated a school?
This natural psychotherapy is a complete charlatan and it is not recognized in our country. There is nothing wrong with Eastern teachings, in preserving nature – too. But there are no methods for overcoming addictions that include isolation and not going to school“, pointed out Dr. Tsvetislava Galabova.
In her words, the definition of “sect“ has several supporting points. One is precisely isolation, and the other – a small closed group of people with a hierarchy.
“In the interview in question with Benatova and Shekerova, this mother talks about hierarchy. First, I was impressed by the lack of emotion in her. That shot me. How can a mother speak without emotion about her son“, commented Dr. Galabova.
“In the 25 years that I was a forensic expert in psychiatry, I have visited pre-trial detention centers and prisons many times. There are queues of mothers there to deliver parcels to their grown-up children who have committed a crime. There was no emotion here“, pointed out Dr. Tsvetislava Galabova.
She explains this by the particular personality structure of these people.
“This mother had terrifying psychopathic traits“, she believes.
“It struck me that they obviously had some communications with the institutions, including the National Security Agency. And this is not only about the signals of the grandparents from Pleven,“ said Tihomir Bezlov.
He stated that he was skeptical of the version of “murder from outside”.
“What kind of criminal structure would organize such a pseudo-suicide? They would just go and shoot them”, he asked.
And Tsvetislava Galabova rejected this version and stated that there was a lot of ritualism in what happened.
“When people have a special personality structure, they are capable of doing such a thing. When they are under the influence of some extreme religious practices, they are capable of doing such a thing“, she commented.
