Prof. Kolarova for "Petrohan": I identify one victim. Are the others victims or an executioner?

There are many details surrounding this case that at least speak of a political umbrella for this group, pointed out Alexander Simov

“From the very beginning, everyone has been saying a lot that this case should not be politicized. But the truth is that there is a lot of politics surrounding this case and it is impossible not to be politicized. The moment you ask the question “how is it possible for this to happen“ - it is already politics. Not to mention all the details. There are many details surrounding this case that speak at least of a political umbrella for this group and have allowed it to become an armed Buddhist detachment or whatever we want to call it there“. This was commented on “This Morning“ on bTV Alexander Simov, journalist and former MP from the BSP on the case of “Petrohan“.

“And the isolation of the territory itself, the signing of agreements with the state, the participation of prominent figures as sponsors. I seriously do not believe that the issue cannot be politicized. And in my opinion, it will be one of the central ones in the election campaign. Society is what it is. The issues are what they are. The case is very shocking, too shocking. Some details are yet to emerge. There are many political issues around this case“, he also noted.

“In my opinion, we should have respect for the victims. However, I do not agree that this should be politicized - especially in the election campaign. It is symptomatic, because we see similar stories all the time, how institutions are constantly being used for private purposes. And if this becomes the main topic, I think a much more important topic will be submerged, which is the normalization of the entire state, which of course includes the fight against corruption“, noted Dobromir Zhivkov, a sociologist from the "Market Links" agency.

„If you ask me, I would not want the election debate to focus on this tragedy. But also, respect for the victims… Who are the victims here? Because I can certainly identify two victims. And it is actually one - the child. For the others - are they victims or the executioner“, asked political scientist Prof. Rumyana Kolarova.

„What is the responsibility of the parents, what is the responsibility of the teachers in this school? The child does not go to school for a month, they have not even written him an absence. There are many problems and many questions. Not to mention the sponsors… Why are you giving money? Who do you give them to? Why do you give them? Have you checked? What is the control? The question is really who are the victims and who are responsible“, she also stated.

“Politicians constantly make it so that their institutions are to blame - some impersonal institutions. And these institutions are always associated with the political opponent. As a result, people don't trust anyone. Hey, that's exactly what's outrageous“, the political scientist believes.
