Society does not trust the people who answer the questions related to the "Petrohan-Okolchitsa" tragedy. This was said by Prof. Veselin Metodiev, historian, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, on the air of "Your Day" on NOVA NEWS.
He commented on the information about a donation made to Ivaylo Kalushev of 1 million leva. According to him, this is difficult to understand, because it is a lot of money.
Prof. Metodiev is of the opinion that in Bulgaria we need a new type of Renaissance, and also people must appear "who give" - "then the state will move forward". If the clashes continue, the energy goes in another direction, he added.
Metodiev also said that new people are expected to enter the parliament. According to him, there will be an increase in voter turnout in the upcoming vote, but it cannot be expected to be that large.
Nevertheless, Prof. Metodiev believes that there is hope for the future of Bulgaria.
