On the 12th day since the discovery of the dead near the "Petrokhan" hut; the debate over who is responsible for the tragedy became the main topic for the deputies.
For the second day in a row, the topic of "Petrokhan" is developing not on the police, but on the political terrain, bTV reports.
Today, the former head of the Directorate of the State Crime Prevention and Investigation Service Kalin Stoyanov, who was in office when the first signals against Kalushev were received, said that he knew nothing about them, he did not even know if they existed.
The PP-DB announced that Kalushev's group trained and worked together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs at a training ground in Montana.
And the prosecutor's office sent the materials on the case to parliament, which the deputies can now read freely.
However, it became clear that although the opposition requested all the materials on the case, in retrospect it only received those for the six deaths, but not for the signals of sexual abuse of children from 2022 and 2024.
„I cannot tell you whether there were any. I was the head of the GDBOP, the inspection will show it. Let's see what and how it was worked. I don't have any information. Was there a signal at all. Rashkov should come out and say how he distributed weapons to the group“, commented Kalin Stoyanov.
PP-DB directed attention in another direction. According to them, the group from “Petrohan“ was closely connected to the Ministry of Interior.
“Why is the Minister of the Interior hiding, as well as the Chief Secretary, in this case “Petrohan“? They are hiding because they need to show some very interesting information. And it is that in 2025, the NGO group in question, which was led in the hut in Petrohan, these 6 people, presumably and maybe someone else, had joint tactical exercises with police units from Montana in April. In 2025, the Minister of the Interior is Daniel Mitov“, said Ivaylo Mirchev.
However, the Ministry of the Interior officially announced to bTV - there was an exercise, but - not in 2025, but in 2023.
The training was held on May 3, 2023 in the city of Montana, and contact was made with representatives of the National Agency for Control of Protected Areas for the provision of AIRSOFT equipment. The same was provided by the individuals I. K., I. I. and N. Z. Other documents related to joint trainings conducted with the agency were not found in the ODMVR-Montana.
The Minister at that time was Ivan Demerdzhiev. He has a different interpretation - different from that of the Ministry of Interior.
“I know about two exercises in 2025 - April and May, I also know about the use of a drone then, but I don't know how we establish for 2023“, commented Roy.
Sources of bTV from Montana also confirmed that such exercises were held three times last year - in April, May and September. However, they did not provide documents. And more political reactions in parliament - from “Vazrazhdane” and “There are such people”.
“There is an umbrella over all kinds of sects, organizations, spiritual teachings related to PP-DB”, stated from „Vazrazhdane“.
„I can very well see the readjustment of PP-DB in order to throw other smokescreens with which to mask this signal, throwing accusations at the institutions“, pointed out Stanislav Balabanov from ITN.

Today the opposition asked something else. Was there a leak of information from DANS and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the people in the hut in Petrokhan and how did they know that there were signals against them. Former Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov was expected to comment today on the group's numerous weapons permits, but none came.
